Building adaptive interfaces for people whose intent is intact but whose physical channel is not.

The intent is there. The interface should be too.

About

Researcher, writer, builder

Ramanand

I am a PhD researcher at the Human-AI Interaction (HAIx) Lab, IIT Gandhinagar, advised by Dr. Yogesh Kumar Meena, working at the intersection of human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence.

Before the PhD, I was a Quality Assurance Engineer at AlgoSec and a Research Associate in computer vision at Samsung R&D, Bangalore.

My research sits at the intersection of HCI, biosignal processing, and assistive AI — designing systems that fuse gaze, speech, EMG, and EEG to infer intent and enable communication for individuals with motor impairments, with a focus on low-cost hardware and Indic language support.
